Throughout history, surrogate mothers were often required to nurse young human infants unable to nurse from their natural mothers for various reasons. Such infants often received superior care and attention. The "foster" mother maintained a revered postion in the family and was affectionately referred to as a "wet nurse". In animal agriculture economics often dictate the early "weaning" of herd replacements on to :synthetic" milk products. The term Wet Nurse™ was applied to our brand of milk replacer to provide complete nutrition to herd replacement young animals when fed as directed. We hope and trust that they will have a reveredposition in the line of feed products for your herd.
